ReportLine
Welcome to the Port Hope Police online reporting system.
ReportLine is a community driven program that provides citizens a means to report dangerous driver behaviours. Instances of unsafe lane changes, disobeying traffic lights, and stop signs are some the behaviours that qualify for a ReportLine submission.
Port Hope Police will only accept reports of incidents that have occurred within the urban area (Ward 1) of the Municipality of Port Hope.
ReportLine should NOT be used for the following circumstances:
- Requires Police top attend a scene immediately.
- Suspicion of an impaired driver
- Lost or stolen vehicles, and/or license plates.
- Motor vehicle collisions
Please be advised this site is not for emergency calls or reporting purposes and is not monitored 24/7. Responses or replies will not be immediate and there may be a delay. If this is an emergency, call 911. For non-emergent inquiries, contact the Port Hope Police Service at (905) 885-8123.
Please Note:
- Filing a false police report is a criminal offense
- You may be contacted by email or telephone is further information is required.
Our roads are shared by everyone so we all have a responsibility in keeping them safe from aggressive and dangerous driving. As a driver in our community, you are the eyes and ears of our roads and know where Police enforcement could be beneficial. Without public reporting ReportLine is less able to help the Police make our roads safer.
