Media Release - November 27, 2025
On November 26, 2025, Port Hope Police responded to a shoplifting incident at a local pharmacy. Officers located the suspect vehicle on Highway 401 and conducted a traffic stop.
Two adult males were arrested. One was charged with Theft Under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and was held for a bail hearing due to existing court conditions. The second male was charged with Theft Under $5,000 and released on conditions.
The investigation remains ongoing.

On January 20, 2023, a Port Hope Police Officer while on general patrol, noticed a vehicle with an illegible license plate. Upon pulling up next to the vehicle, the officer noticed the passenger bent over in the foot well of the car. The Officer initialized a traffic stop and after approaching the driver’s side window he recognized drug paraphernalia that the driver and passenger had attempted to hide. Following a search of the vehicle, the officers recovered 26.3g of crack cocaine and a number of drug accessories. As a result, police arrested Pamela BLAKLEY of Castleton and Jennelle LEPINE or Oshawa. Both females were charged with Adult possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a schedule I and schedule III substance.
