Theft of Vehicle

On January 5th at approximately 8:14pm, police were called to a Port hope car dealership for a stolen vehicle. Police were advised that two males attended at approximately 7:00 PM and took a grey 2022 Hyundai Elantra for a test drive. At approximately 7:55 PM, the males returned and one male got into the Black Toyota 4 Runner that they arrived to the dealership in and both vehicles took off from the dealership quickly. The driver’s license provided to the dealership staff belonged to a male out of Caledon.  Police observed video footage inside and outside of the dealership and observed one male wearing a red coat, white shirt, black baseball cap with word "security" on it and black pants. The second male was described as wearing a black coat, white hooded sweatshirt, black and camo baseball cap and black or grey pants. Both males appear to have dark hair and dark beards.
