Bail Violations

As a result of Port Hope Police responding to a fight in progress in the Chestnut Hill area on Sunday night April 25, 2021, two people were charged for failing to comply with conditions of their bail release. A  27 year old female, Ashley Debideen and Patrick Lalonde age 28, both of Port Hope, Ontario had both been released on a prior criminal matter with conditions not to communicate with each other. Port Hope Police located the two together shortly after responding to the fight in progress. Both parties were arrested and released to appear in court in May, 2021.

Drive Motor Vehicle-Perform Stunt

As a result of operating a vehicle in a manner to perform a stunt, a 23 year old male from Cobourg Ontario is facing charges of drive motor vehicle- perform stunt. The male had his vehicle towed and impounded for seven (7) days. The male was charged after a police officer observed the driver accelerating away from a stop sign so fast the vehicle tires lost traction on the pavement, and the driver just missed hitting an oncoming vehicle.  The male was released on a summons to attend court in June, 2021 to answer to the charge.
