Weapon Charges
On Saturday, June 11th 2022, around 6:00pm a witness observed a male running down Walton Street wearing a balaclava and was holding a large knife in his hand. Witnesses remained in the area and later observed the male that had been holding the knife and a young female met up together in the area of Mill St & Ward St. Police later arrested a 19-year old male and charged with a Weapons Dangerous and Fail to Comply. The accused was later released for court on July 20, 2022.
Warrants Executed
On Friday June 10, 2022, a 25-year old male was arrested on two outstanding bench warrants for fail to appear for court.
On Saturday June 11, 2022, a Port Hope male was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for fail to attend for court.
On Sunday June 12, 2022 a Port Hope male was arrested on an outstanding warrant held by the Durham Regional Police Service. The male was arrested and turned over the DRPS.
