Media Release - November 29, 2024   Media Release November 29, 2024   A 37-year-old Port Hope male was arrested and charged with spousal assault following an interaction with his ex-girlfriend. On November 26, 2024, police responded to a call at a residence in Port Hope regarding a domestic disturbance involving the victim's ex-boyfriend, who refused to leave the property. Following an argument, the victim tried to prevent the accused from leaving the residence. Media Release - November 8, 2024   Media Release - November 8, 2024   Impaired Driver A 22-year-old Port Hope male was arrested and charged with impaired driving. On November 1, 2024, an officer on general patrol noticed a vehicle approach quickly from the rear of the police cruiser, and then proceeded to weave back and forth, and appeared to be impatient with the officer that was travelling at the lawful rate of speed.
