High rate of speed leads to an arrest
At 12:29 am on Thursday morning May 13, 2021, Eamon Gunning was operating his vehicle approximately 30 kilometers over the speed limit. As a result the Port Hope Police conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of Eamon Gunning for multiple criminal offences. Gunning, born in 1975 of Oshawa Ontario, was charged with failure to comply with a release order x2, driving while under suspension, Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine, possession of break in instruments, unauthorized possession a weapon and breach of probation. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
