Lock it or Lose it Port Hope! Wanted male caught

LOCK IT OR LOSE IT PORT HOPE!

Let's try a little harder to lock our vehicles overnight! On the 6th of January 2019 in the area of Peacock Blvd and Arthur Mark Drive there were reports of thefts from vehicle overnight.  Not much was taken from the reporting complainant's vehicles.  However, the crimes were still a nuisance for the victim's.  Suspects in these cases are often looking for loose change, and actions like locking vehicles often successfully deter suspects from completing the crime.  It is also recommended to have motion sensing lighting at or near the front of your residence.

Wanted alleged thief caught

On the 9th of January 2019 in the early morning hours Arthur Schuur was located at the Bank of Nova Scotia on Walton Street.  Checks of this male showed he was wanted from the Cobourg Police for 7 offences.  He was then arrested and released to the custody of the Cobourg Police.
