As a result of a traffic stop on Monday March 14, 2022, a male from Alnwick/Haldimand Township was arrested for failing to comply with a release order. The 35-year-old male was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by police in the area of Hope Street in Port Hope, Ontario around 4:57 pm. The accused had been released earlier in the year on weapon charges, but failed to appear for court. As a result, a warrant was issued for the accused.
