Bear attractant Bird Feeders

 

With the current sightings of Black Bear continuing to be reported,  Port Hope Police and the MNFR are requesting citizens in Urban Port Hope who have bird feeders on their property to temporarily remove them as this has noted to be a popular attractant for the black bear.  For other important information on bears and encounters visit the below ministry link.
