Station 1AThefts from unlocked vehicles Port Hope Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles when not in use. On the 10th of October 2018 Police were called to an apartment complex in the Municipality's east end after two people reported their vehicle rummaged through. crime 1A warrant has been issued for a 39 year old Durham Region man in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle and several unauthorized uses of a credit card. Port Hope Police commenced an investigation into the incident on the 2nd of October. Police allege the accused befriended an elderly man and then began taking advantage of him financially. Shortly before 1:00am on September 30th a westbound vehicle left the roadway colliding into a house on the south side of Walton Street east of Pine Street. logo 3Theft of E-Bike A Mill Street resident reported to Port Hope Police on the 19th of September someone stole an e-bike. The e-bike was parked by the Mill Street residence and was last seen there at 2:00am and noticed missing about hour and a half later. Port Hope Police checked the area but could not find it.
